Aims and Scope

 Journal of Sustainable Rural Development (JSRD) provides a valuable outlet for research and scholarship on sustainable rural development themes and topics. It publishes manuscripts of empirical and/or the theoretical in sustainable rural development. All empirical methods, including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods, are welcomed. To be published in JSRD, a manuscript must make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the sustainable rural development field.

Therefore, preference is given to articles that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically investigating the issues with high importance for sustainable rural development theories and practices.
